www.extinctioners.com has had minor updates,also information about the release date of Extinctioners 10, which can now be ordered in the current Previews under Shanda Fantasy Arts, to ship in February. I am also now opening up for submissions for the first ever annual for Extinctioners with a tentative deadline of May 2002. Now I know why the black widow is called its name, this one almost killed my poor inking pen. Took forever to get this shiney look on her and all the hairs on the big tarantula. Was interesting drawing a charater that's almost twice my age. Made me do a lot of research on the character too and learned a lot about him I didn't know. This was my first attempt at drawing himn and again done at Six Flags.

Maxwell is a cat that really has nine lives. As Copycat he has the ability of creating 8 energy based duplicates of himself that are so real it seems like they are almost alive, or are they. Not the most energetic of the group, you could say he's down right lazy except when it comes to sports or finding time for his kitten love, Katherine. Another character study of a new Character. This one is named Eve, she is a vervet monkey. She acts as the bodyguard of my main villian. The initial scan wasn't great, left choppy bits in the inks. Here's a sneak preview of Extinctioners issue 11, due out towards the start of next month. This issue will feature a crossover of sorts with Ken Singshow's Andorozon characters (see his Yerf directory for his work on them). With the release of Extinctioners 10 last week (the 47 page monster) and finishing the pencils for 11, I'm finally getting closer to being caught up. Now with greytoning the pages, I can now focuse on other projects, like for one, getting the music/art CD ready for and some portfolios for AC. Hope I can get all I want done in time. More previews of what I'm currently working on, Extinctioners issue 13 Out in December. It's a slow process cause while I like my own inking, I hate doing it. I did like drawing this though, Sachi is a fun visual character (copyright Ken Singshow).

This page is a testiment to how slow I've gotten in drawing due to my past wrist injury and how much I hate inking. This took a week to do.

I've changed the way I draw my pink weasle, CeeCee, actually now giving her head hair. I'm also intentionally trying to flesh out the their world by spending more time on backgrounds.
