Woo-hoo! It worked! This one was from September 2001, done mostly in marker with a little colored pencil. I was Not Happy with the feet, but consider this one of my best of that time anyhow.

Unlike most grey tabbies, my cat Sakura is a very subtle grey-on-grey, with no black markings in her fur at all.I've been meaning to anthro-fy her for some time, and she finally ended up arranging cherry blossoms in a kimono. Go figure. Prismacolor markers and colored pencil on Bristol Board.

"Double Happiness - Double Date" Dahlia and Orchid spiffed up in cheongsams for a date. The medallion behind them is the Chinese "Double Happiness" - usually it is displayed at weddings, but I thought it applicable to this as well.
